ABI Informatic Partners With Catena Technologies To Provide Data Modeling And Integration Capabilities To Asia Pacific Customers 28th April 2003 - ABI Informatic and Catena Technologies Pte Ltd today announced a software distribution agreement to provide the ABI Informatic's vdf2db software to Asia Pacific markets. With the vdf2db software, customers can easily integrate Telekurs VDF data directly with their existing systems and take advantage of ABI's comprehensive data modeling and mapping facilities. As part of this agreement Catena Technologies will function as the sales, marketing and operations agent of ABI Informatic for Greater China, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Korea, Australia, and New Zealand, facilitating ABI Informatics' expansion into the Asia Pacific market. The vdf2db product was developed to support the integration and maintenance of Telekurs data. vdf2db is closely linked to the Telekurs VDF metadata, and provides a graphical user interface for managing data conversion. vdf2db provides considerable time and cost savings for projects that involve end -of-day, reference or corporate actions data. vdf2db's also makes it easy to adapt Telekurs data to the local system environment and accommodate on-going changes to VDF data feed.
